Centering around Black history and culture is a powerful tools for fostering empathy, awareness, and understanding. By exploring historical sites, landmarks, and cultural experiences related to the Black community, participants can gain insights into the resilience and significant contributions that have shaped society.

This tour aims to highlight the accomplishments and achievements of Black individuals and communities throughout history, addressing both the challenges they have faced and the positive impact they have made on various aspects of society.

United Street Tours promotes a more inclusive and equitable understanding of history and culture by shedding light on narratives that may have been overlooked or underrepresented in mainstream education and media.

Remember to approach these tours with an open mind and a willingness to learn, engage in meaningful dialogue, and support initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in your area

It was a great opportunity to tap into the city’s diversity by taking this tour. We talked about key civil rights leaders in Nashville such as Congressman John Lewis and the role that black, as well as white people, played. It was a life-changing experience.

We need more diverse stories to get the complete picture of our nation’s history. This is cutting edge inclusion work and fun!!
